Week 12 NFL Picks

What games should you watch on Sunday? We rank each game and pick them against the spread.

1. Giants +7 @ Saints

The Superdome is a house of horrors for a multitude of reasons and visiting teams normally have a very long day (or in this case night). The Giants are simply too banged up to keep Drew Brees and company off the field and this one could get ugly. Saints 38, Giants 24.

2. Patriots -3.5
@ Eagles

Two big markets and two intriguing teams despite the Eagles 4-6 record. Vince Young magic usually wears off when he's lined up against a Bill Belichick coached team, and Tom Brady should tear apart the Eagles secondary. Patriots 34, Eagles 20.

3. Bears +3.5
@ Raiders

Chicago is going to have to rally around Caleb Hanie for the next month or so while Jay Cutler is injured. Oakland is a very difficult place for opponents but the Raiders haven't been good against the run and the Bears will likely ride Matt Forte. Bears 20, Raiders 17.

4. Broncos +6
@ Chargers

As ugly as he is to watch throwing the football, Tim Tebow continues to be fascinating, must-see TV. Vegas is giving us six points against a Chargers team with a QB who's interception prone and a head coach who the team has maybe quit on. This looks like a Christmas present for gamblers. Broncos 24, Chargers 21.

5. Texans -4.5
@ Jaguars

This is a nice game for Matt Leinart's first start as a Texan as Jacksonville is missing four starters on defense including both of their starting cornerbacks. No Terrance Knighton in the middle should make for a big running day for Arian Foster and Ben Tate. Texans 27, Jaguars 13.

6.
Bills +9.5 @ Jets

New York handled Buffalo in every way imaginable three weeks ago and the only thing that's changed is more Bills injuries. Jets 27, Bills 13.

7. Buccaneers +3.5
@ Titans

The Titans fans will turn on Matt Hasselbeck at the first sign of trouble as they want to see more of Jake Locker. Josh Freeman is due for a good game for the Bucs. Buccaneers 24, Titans 23.

8. Redskins +3.5
@ Seahawks

It seems impossible to trust Seattle to win three games in a row, especially as a favorite by more than a field goal. Redskins 20, Seahawks 17.

9.
Browns +7.5 @ Bengals

The Browns are one of the worst four win teams in football and the Bengals are one of the worst six win teams in football. I'll take six wins over four wins and lay the points. Bengals 24, Browns 14.

10. Steelers -11
@ Chiefs

Tyler Palko was mostly terrible against a bad defense and this week he goes against a great defense. We might see Kyle Orton or Ricky Stanzi take snaps before this one is over. Steelers 31, Chiefs 6.

11.
Vikings +9.5 @ Falcons

Minnesota has no Adrian Peterson. This likely wouldn't be a close game if they did have him. Falcons 28, Vikings 10.

12.
Arizona +3 @ St. Louis

Scalpers day off in a major way as this is certainly the most unwatchable football game this weekend. Betting this game would be like betting preseason- if you do you probably have a problem. My favorite who cares pick- Rams 20, Cards 13.

Last week: 9-3-1

Season: 79-72-7
