Landri is somewhat undersized at 6'2.5", 288 lbs., but has a great initial bust as well as upper-body strength. Landri is a tough guy with a great motor, and should fit in well in the Jaguars rotation.
Knocks on Landri are mainly size related, which will likely keep him from being an every down defensive tackle at the NFL level. Another knock is durability, as Landri suffered a knee injury in the Sugar Bowl this year. Landri has a lot of starting experience, as he's played in 47 games for the Irish.
The Jaguars obviously like Landri, and he could push 2006 undrafted free agent rookie, Tony McDaniel for playing time this season. Landri was projected by many to go early in the second day, so the Jaguars are getting somewhat of a bargain at pick #166.
