The first week of Jaguars training camp is complete, and we at Jagnation have seen a lot of good things, and also some not so good things from the team. Highlighting the positives has been the play of starting quarterback Byron Leftwich.

Byron Leftwich - Stock is up
Leftwich is having the best camp of his pro career and has taken control of the starting quarterback job and the offense as a whole.
David Garrard - Stock is down
Garrard has been very inaccurate during camp, and hasn’t seemed to progress at all since the last time we saw him, a game in which he was benched in the second half.
Quinn Gray - Stock is down
Gray hasn’t made any mistakes on the field, because he’s missed most of the first week of camp. Gray has a pretty high salary for a number three quarterback ($1.2M), and if he isn’t healthy, he’s in danger of not making the squad, especially since he’s an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
Tim Couch - Stock is even
Couch has only been with the team for five days or so, and he’s quickly learning the Jaguars playbook. He’s starting behind the eight-ball, so-to-speak, but he has an opportunity to win a third-string job if he can outplay Gray.
