JagNation Stock Report: Offensive Line
Meester snaps to Garrard (Jake Roth/JagNation.com)
Posted Aug 6, 2007

The first week of Jaguars training camp is complete, and we at Jagnation have seen a lot of good things, and also some not so good things from the team. Here is how the offensive line stock has been rated.

Khalif Barnes - T - Stock is up
Barnes has looked very good thus far in camp, and he's in no danger of losing his job.

Tony Pashos - T - Stock is up
Pashos seems to be as good as advertised at right tackle. He works hard, he's nasty, and he's a leader to the young players.

Richard Collier - T - Stock is up
Collier has played very well for the second consecutive training camp, and did a fine job in Friday night's scrimmage.

Maurice Williams - T - Stock is down
It appears that the Jaguars made the proper move in the off-season by signing Pashos. Mo Williams hasn't really competed at left tackle, and is little more than experienced depth. If he hadn't restructured his contract last week, there's no way he would've made the team.

Andrew Carnahan - T - Stock is even
The coaching staff likes what Carnahan brings to the table, but he is probably not ready to play at the NFL level just yet.

Pete McMahon - T - Stock is even
McMahon is a project guy from NFL Europa who is working hard. McMahon is likely not yet ready for the NFL game.

Samuel Gutekunst - T - Stock is even
The German national is the definition of a project guy. He's working with his former Baltimore teammate, Tony Pashos.

Brad Meester - C - Stock is down
Meester was having a solid first few days of camp before his ankle injury. Meester is now down for 8-10 weeks.

Dennis Norman - C - Stock is up
Norman is the Jaguars insurance policy on the offensive line. Norman is now the starter in Meester's absence at the center position.

Uche Nwaneri - G - Stock is even
Nwaneri is naturally a guard, but he has received some reps at center with Meester going down.

Dan Connelly - G - Stock is even
Connelly hasn't done much in camp to be noticed yet, which is probably a good thing if you play on the offensive line.

Vince Manuwai - G - Stock is up
Manuwai is having a very solid camp, and is poised to make a strong run at a Pro-Bowl selection.

Chris Naeole - G - Stock is up
The entire starting offensive line seems to be blocking very well. Naeole is a veteran, and the high level of play that he is showing is exactly what the team expects from him.

Stockar McDougle - G - Stock is even
McDougle hasn't done anything to be noticed, either good or bad through this first week of camp. He is definitely in a fight for his job.
