The Jaguars were forced to make some roster moves today due to the season ending quad injury to Chris Naeole, the performance enhancing substance suspension of Marcus Stroud, and the team suspension of Justin Durant. The Jaguars welcomed back three players that were with the team in the preseason, guard Tutan Reyes, and linebackers Jorge Cordova and Roy Manning.

Tutan Reyes was actually on the Jaguars opening day roster before being released on September 11th. Reyes was initially released to make room for kicker John Carney after starting kicker Josh Scobee was injured in warm-ups before the season opener. Since Reyes is a vested veteran and was on the opening day roster, the Jaguars were responsible for his salary for the season regardless of whether or not he suited up. Reyes will add some much needed experience and depth on the offensive line, as the Jaguars will be
without their best lineman in Chris Naeole for the rest of the year.
Jorge Cordova was a former first day pick by the Jaguars (third round) in 2004 from Nevada-Reno, but hadn't lived up to expectations due to injuries and mediocre play. Cordova missed the entire 2004 and 2005 seasons with leg injuries, and played sparingly in 2006. Cordova's only real impact play came in December of 2006 when he blocked a punt in the team's 44-17 victory
over Indianapolis.
Roy Manning had a brief cameo with the Jaguars during their final week of preseason, before being waived on September 1st. Manning played in one
preseason game for the Jaguars and tallied three tackles and one interception that he returned 27 yards for a touchdown. Despite making the
most of his brief playing time, Manning was a victim of numbers and was waived just 48 hours after the game.
