JagNation's Charlie Bernstein updates the weekly power rankings in the NFL

1. New England Patriots-Run defense was exposed. Must have a better effort this week. (1)

2. Dallas Cowboys- See ya in Glendale. (2)

3. Indianapolis Colts- Good team that doesn't need help. (4)

4. Pittsburgh Steelers- Not playing their best ball, but they're winning. (6)

5. Green Bay Packers- Clearly the second-best NFC team. (3)

6. Jacksonville Jaguars- Could be a real contender. (5)

7. Seattle Seahawks- Starting to play well, could make noise in the playoffs. (8)

8. San Diego Chargers- They gave the ball to L.T., what a concept. (9)

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Galloway could be the third-best receiver in football. (10)

10. New York Giants- Will earn a playoff berth thanks to their gutty win Sunday. (11)

11. Cleveland Browns- Not for real. (7)

12. Arizona Cardinals- Back in the playoff race. (16)

13. Minnesota Vikings- Peterson's back, everyone the Vikings play is in trouble. (23)

14. Tennessee Titans- May have rescued their season with a win over Houston. (18)

15. Philadelphia Eagles- Too many mistakes in their loss to Seattle. (12)

16. Buffalo Bills- Big win in a very tough place Sunday at Washington. (21)

17. Chicago Bears- Played well for three quarters against the Giants. (19)

18. New Orleans Saints- The '06 magic is officially gone. (13)

19. Detroit Lions- In a free fall with no signs of an end. (14)

20. Cincinnati Bengals- Better than their 4-8 record. (17)

21. Washington Redskins- Really tough week for the 'Skins. (20)

22. Denver Broncos- Coach Shanahan is doing a terrible job. (15)

23. Houston Texans- Back to being the same old Texans. (22)

24. Oakland Raiders- Two wins in a row against their division. (27)

25. Kansas City Chiefs- Officially playing for draft position. (24)

26. St. Louis Rams- Playing much better these days. (28)

27. New York Jets- Took some pride and beat up the Dolphins. (29)

28. Carolina Panthers- Probably won their last game of the season. (31)

29. Baltimore Ravens- Played inspired football for 59 minutes. (25)

30. San Francisco 49ers- On the clock. (26)

31. Atlanta Falcons- Preparing to draft Brian Brohm. (30)

32. Miami Dolphins- Time is running out. (32)
