The Jaguars made two transactions today, the first placing defensive tackle Marcus Stroud on the injured reserve list with an injured ankle. The second is signing former Houston Texans linebacker/defensive end, Shantee Orr.

Shantee Orr is a former Michigan Wolverine, who starred for three seasons at defensive end before being signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent rookie in 2003. The 6'0 , 246 lb. Orr was a practice squad player in the beginning of his career before cracking the 53-man roster in 2005. In a little more than two seasons with Houston, Orr has totaled 78 tackles, 10.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles. Orr played in his last game with the Texans on October 28th, against San Diego, a game in which he registered one tackle.
