Cleo spent his first two NFL seasons backing up Drew Brees in San Diego, before moving to Miami via a trade in 2005. Lemon has played in 13 games in his career, starting just eight. He has thrown for 2185 yards in his career with 8 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Lemon has also rushed for four touchdowns and has a career quarterback rating of 72.2.
Lemon's signing likely means the end of the road in Jacksonville for unrestricted free agent quarterback Quinn Gray, who publicly complained about his restricted free agent tender a year ago. The Jaguars now have four quarterbacks on the roster-David Garrard, Cleo Lemon, Todd Bouman, and Lester Ricard.
