The Jacksonville Jaguars today released five players to trim the roster to the 75-man limit.

Included in today’s transactions were veterans WR John Broussard and TE Isaac Smolko. Also waived were three first-year players: DE Alex Boston, WR Clyde Edwards and WR Jeron Harvey.

The Jaguars’ roster now stands at 75 players. First round pick Derrick Harvey is the only unsigned player, and he will not count toward the 75-player limit until he signs a contract. The deadline for final cuts to 53 is Saturday, Aug. 30.
