It’s the list that everyone loves to hate, our meaningless power rankings.

1. New York Giants- The champs are hitting on all cylinders right now. (1)

2. Tennessee Titans- Defense could be the best in the NFL. (3)

3. Carolina Panthers-
There are good things happening in Charlotte. (6)

4. Washington Redskins-
Skins are playing great football. (14)

5. Dallas Cowboys- Fantastic talent, they may have chemistry issues. (2)

6. Pittsburgh Steelers-
Best quarterback in the game right now. (8)

7. New England Patriots-
They have enough other weapons to hide their QB for a while. (10)

8. Buffalo Bills- Will Trent Edwards miss any more time? (4)

9. Denver Broncos- Defense showed up against the Bucs. (12)

10. Chicago Bears- Kyle Orton is playing fairly well. (15)

11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- They need a quarterback. (9)

12. Baltimore Ravens- They play great defense, they run the ball. (18)

13. Philadelphia Eagles- McNabb needs to start making plays in the fourth quarter. (7)

14. San Diego Chargers- Can’t play on the east coast. (5)

15. Arizona Cardinals- Explosive offense at home. (20)

16. New Orleans Saints-
They need a good kicker. (16)

17. Miami Dolphins- Absolutely getting the most out of their talent.(23)

18. Indianapolis Colts- Don’t be fooled by the comeback, they have problems. (17)

19. New York Jets- Don’t think they’re a real contender just yet. (19)

20. Atlanta Falcons- Mike Smith for Coach of the Year. (27)

21. Jacksonville Jaguars- Defense doesn’t stop anyone at crunch time, offense can’t throw deep. (11)

22. Green Bay Packers- Rodgers is having growing pains. (13)

23. Minnesota Vikings- Gutsy win Monday night, maybe they can save the season. (21)

24. San Francisco 49ers- Will be in the mix in a pathetic NFC West. (24)

25. Houston Texans- The type of defeat that can hang with them for a while. (25)

26. Seattle Seahawks- Why did they even bother making the trip to NY? (22)

27. Cincinnati Bengals- Still winless, but playing better football. (30)

28. Cleveland Browns- They moved up on their bye week. (29)

29. Oakland Raiders- Nobody can wreck a team quite like Al Davis. (28)

30. Kansas City Chiefs- Will Herm survive rebuilding? (26)

31. Detroit Lions- The post-Millen era is eerily reminiscent to the Millen era. (31

32. St. Louis Rams- They didn’t lose during their bye. (32)
