Prior to Sunday’s game, JagNation gave you a list of some key, under the radar players to watch against the Broncos. We are now going to examine how those players performed.
When the Jaguars were on offense:
Marcedes Lewis
-
Marcedes Lewis came up big in this game as he made three catches for 64 yards including a 30 yard touchdown.
Jaguars offensive line -
The more physical Jaguars offensive line pushed around the undersized Denver line en route to 155 rushing yards.
Dennis Northcutt
-
Northcutt was activated for the first time in three weeks and he caught three passes for 42 yards.
Elvis Dumervil
-
The Broncos speedy pass rusher was handled by
Khalif Barnes
for much of the game as he recorded just one tackle.
Boss Bailey
-
Boss Bailey had a solid game as he recorded seven tackles and a forced fumble.
Marlon McCree
-
The Denver safety was beat several times, but he did manage to get in on eight tackles.
When the Broncos were on offense:
Eddie Royal
-
Royal was deactivated for the game.
Broncos offensive line -
The underrated Denver line allowed no sacks and paved the way for 131 Broncos rushing yards.
Daniel Graham
-
The backup to the injured
Tony Scheffler
caught one pass for an 11 yard touchdown.
Derrick Harvey
-
The Jaguars rookie was once again very close to making several big plays, but ended up with just two tackles.
Tony McDaniel
/
Derek Landri
-
The tandem of Jaguars defensive tackles filled in for
Rob Meier
and tallied three combined tackles.
