JagNation will now compare our keys to victory with what actually happened in the Jaguars disappointing 27-7 loss at Baltimore.

Five most important things for the Jaguars:

1. Match Baltimore’s intensity early on. The Jaguars didn’t look overwhelmed early on and even took a brief 7-3 lead. Then the wheels fell off the wagon.

2. Don’t turn the ball over. Whoops! Garrard threw two interceptions and Maurice Jones-Drew and Dennis Northcutt each fumbled. Four turnovers will not get the job done.

3. Stop the run. The Jaguars did a decent job against the Ravens rushing attack, but Baltimore still gained 127 yards on 34 carries.

4. Make big plays in the passing game. That simply didn’t happen. Garrard’s longest completion was 23 yards.

5. Protect Garrard. David had time for the most part as the Jaguars only allowed one sack.

What to look for:

1. Look for a Le’Ron McClain touchdown or two. McClain scored twice in the blowout.

2. Look for three turnovers by the Jaguars. They did one better than that.

3. Look for Haoli Ngata to dominate. The Ravens fantastic nose tackle had just two tackles, but he ate up blocks all day long.

4. Look for a big special teams play. There were no big plays on special teams for either team.

5. Look for Mike Walker to play big. Walker wasn’t targeted much, but he did catch a 23 yard pass.
