Good-sized target who will vie for all-conference honors this season in taking over for all-conference selection Anthony Pudewell. Versatile athlete who is a talented pass-catcher, valuable blocker and special teams player.
2006: Missed nearly half the season with a hip injury but returned near the end of the season and started in the MPC Computers Bowl...Had eight catches for 104 yards and a touchdown during the regular season...Caught three passes for 25 yards against Miami in the MPC Computers Bowl...Best game was a four-catch, 53-yard performance with a touchdown at Arizona State...One of nine Nevada players to earn academic All-WAC honors.
2005: Played in 11 games and started one with a two tight end set...Valuable blocker and special teams player... Caught seven passes for 48 yards on the year... Had three catches for 22 yards against Hawai`i... Caught a two-yard touchdown pass vs. Idaho... Added two receptions for 14 yards at New Mexico State.
2004: Played in 10 games...Caught two balls for 17 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown catch vs. Boise State.
2003: Redshirted his first year at Nevada.
High School
A graduate of Rancho Cotate High School in Santa Rosa, Calif....Two-time, two-way All-Empire League selection as a tight end and defensive end...Earned second-team All-Bay Area honors as a tight end...Was also a North Coast Section scholar-athlete with a 4.0 GPA...Had 12 catches for 176 yards and a touchdown and added a school-record 17 sacks in 2002.
